Our platform GameDev, aimed at the development of the gaming industry in Turkey, is back with a new interface, features, and vision. We're now much more active with our new mentors, teammates, and projects. So, what have we changed and what's on the way?
GameDev, as its mission suggests, is an organization that focuses on developing 'game' in Turkey. Our knowledge base and corporate identity were built around this idea. There's no change in that, of course. We still see ourselves responsible in this regard, rolling up our sleeves, and working hard. However, we needed to implement various new ideas to make more significant contributions.
What We Did?
We reinterpreted our platform so that it can also be the voice of the developers. We want to make it a place where professionals and organizations come together, known for its helpfulness and trustworthiness. We decided to take the first step with content creation for this purpose. On our website, we will conduct interviews with experts in their fields. We will give them space to write columns and make evaluations. These contents will, of course, be a treasure trove for those interested in technical topics.
We have also changed and detailed our application area. Your projects and games are precious to us. We need to be more familiar with them so that we can evaluate them from the right perspective and contribute even if we don't collaborate.
We have also activated our social media accounts. It's worth following. Because we will frequently share updates related to us and our industry from there. We also have the idea of including bite-sized informational content.
What's on the Way?
The renewal of our website and the expansion of our team were actually just the first steps on this journey. Much more is on the way and coming fast.
As we said, we want GameDev to take on a community aspect. We will soon create a space that brings together people involved in the gaming world's digital domain. We want this place to be a home for all of us, for exchanging ideas, forming new teams, having lively conversations, and rubbing elbows.s
In addition, we will be spending more time with developers to observe their problems. This is already one of the processes we've started, but it will gain momentum. We have already observed some chronic problems. We are working diligently on solutions. One of the ways to solve these issues is to build structures in the ecosystem, and that's where GameDev will play a role.
In conclusion, we are back with you once again. We are even more with you this time. In fact, we aim to be even more with you.
